Trivia Night Success!

Author: A. Henry
Date Created: 29 Aug 2006

Myrniong Primary School’s annual trivia night was a roaring success.

It was attended by a plethora of characters with the vocal and entertaining “Garry” deservedly winning the best dressed. Go Garry, Go!

The nuns may have had Holy intervention to win the actual question component of the night. But is that why we attend?

Religion was a popular theme with the pope and his cronies running the event, a table of nuns, buddah and his Hari Krishnas and the devils.

Miners were also attending, two tables worth, with the council workers not doing much at all. Where was Naomi when you need her?

2nd place getters in the costume department were the cows and their bull, with the taxi drivers gaining third, their taxi out the front confusing many on the night.

Julie ‘Garry’ won the singing comp and the two scary looking taxi drivers won best dancing.

An update when the amount raised is known.

As for the gossip –“what happens at trivia night, stays at trivia night!”

The terrors at the back of the room.
