Currently 10 Members are undertaking training as crew leaders, the course is being run at the Myrniong Fire Station each Monday, we are now in our fifth week and are progressing well. It is an interesting course and hopefully we all gain something from it.
It wont be long and Fire Season will be on us again, so please take the time to clean up around your property.
The brigade was disappointed that we had two illegal burns last season unfortunately people may face charges from their actions, please be sure you are aware of the restrictions and what your responsibilities are.
All information relating to burning rubbish is available from the council so make the effort and don't get fined.
The opening of the New Fire Station was a great success and the Brigade thanks all the people that contributed to the day a special thanks to the Recreation Reserve Committee for the catering and Simone Barry for the P A equipment and Movie.
