With its close proximity to the Western Freeway it is only a short 45 minute drive to Melbourne, 30 minutes to Ballarat and 40 minutes to Geelong. The community is scattered throughout the Pentland Hills below Mt. Blackwood and still retains its country character. Beef cattle, sheep, pigs and chooks all graze at Myrniong, and the cropping of wheat , barley, oats and canola play a large part in this small rural community...more
